The rapid translation system (RTS) is used to search for and identify (targeted) proteins. The chemical reaction occurs in the disposable container placed in the middle of the apparatus.
 
The housing design is part of the same range as the RTS ProteoMaster. The cylindrical shape is easily recognized as similar to the latter and the control panel faces the operator.
