Felix Fabian, born 1975, has been introduced to the branch of industrial design from early year's onwards as the company's office has been situated in the parental home since the foundation in 1981 until 1991. As a result, Felix developed the knowledge and awareness that the profession of an industrial designer consists not only of innovative thinking, but also enthusiasm and the ability to apply technical skills and craftmanship. After having completed his school certificate at a technical high school in Germany, Felix studied at the Pforzheim University under the guidance of Hans-Juergen Lannoch and Klaus Limberg.
During his studies, Felix took part in a variety of projects in his father's company in order to support his studies financially and to gain valuable skills and experience in the area of industrial design. His involvement ranged from working on the drawing board to container construction in Pforzheim.
Various internships such as working at Spielhoff Design (Dortmund), Studio Budde+Piltz (Nottuln) and Rand Worldwide (Munich) provided Felix with the opportunity of developing expert knowledge with CAD/CAM and CAID.
Since 2001, Felix has been employed by Fabian Industrial Design. Since 2008 Felix has taken over the ownership of the company and is in charge of management.
Besides the leadership of the company Felix has been specialising in the ongoing process and evaluation of the initial technical development to the production of the finished product.
In his leisure time, Felix who is married with two daughters tries to find time for his favourite hobby of creating ship models and his interest for ships in general.

| Wolfgang Fabian (only in german) Wolfgang Fabian, geb. 1943, macht sich 1981 selbständig und gründet Fabian Industrie-Design. Zuvor arbeitet der gelernte Goldschmied nach seinem Studium an der Gesamthochschule Wuppertal bei Gugelot-Design in Ulm und bei Prof. Dr. Bernt Spiegel in der Entwicklungsgruppe Mannheim. 1990 bezieht er gemeinsam mit seinen damaligen Angestellten das Büro in der Relaisstraße 183, den heutigen Firmensitz. Mit dem erklärten Ziel, das Unternehmen überschaubar zu halten, führt Wolfgang Fabian das Büro mit meist 2 fest angestellten Designern. Schließlich wollte er stets selbst als Designer - und nicht als Design-Verwalter - tätig sein. Nach 27 Jahren als Kapitän von Fabian Industrie-Design zieht sich Wolfgang Fabian 2008 aus dem operativen Geschäft zurück, um fortan Kapitän seiner "Kassiopeia" zu sein. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail und gewohnter handwerklicher Präzision verwandelt er das alte Hausboot nun in ein wunderschönes altes Hausboot. Seine Erfahrung und sein Know-How aus über 30 Jahren Tätigkeit als Designer lässt er auch weiterhin projektbezogen einfließen und steht dem Team beratend zur Seite. |
