The ironing board features technical innovation and safety.
 
Its stable folding frame allows for use on uneven floors. The electric cable is attached to the foot. Thus the board does not tip over should the user inadvertently trip over or become entangled in the cable. When not in use the iron is placed safely on an attractively formed metal rack. The board's aluminium coated foam is securely attached to an expanded metal frame while the flexible stretched cotton remains fold free.
 
Perhaps not quite enough to make ironing into a pure pleasure but at least enough to lighten the load of that unloved domestic chore.
